Hi Little ones! I am sorry it has been soooo long since I last posted here. Life has been busy! The nursing program blah, blah, blah! But this summer has been an awesome and much needed time to relax, have fun and spend time together.
This summer has been full of afternoon trips to the pool & library (two of our favorite places), homemade popsicles (like everyday), crafts and playdates to catch up with friends. We are also taking a trip to Pismo next week and moving!!
I am so grateful for this time spent with you girls, it is precious. Tonight we had time for extra books, singing and back massages :). And you both are soaking it it up! So many extra hugs and I love yous, you girls are so happy you sing all day, seriously. I hope we all remember these moments when the school season starts back up again because it gets pretty busy!
Your favorite things to play right now are baby (either when one of you is a mom and one is a baby or when you are both moms and you play with your babies, making meals for them, finding fancy things for them to wear or planning their surprise birthday parties), or you play school (you are each the teacher of your own classrooms, i.e. every stuffed animal you own), or fancy dress up girls (where you pretend to be going to a ball or that you are fairies etc.).
Tonight after dinner we took a walk where you Maya said "if I am going to be a mom and a vet and a pilot and teacher when I grow up I am going to need at least 5 more hands!". And then for fun I asked you Leila what you wanted to be when you grow up and you listed everything Maya said and added "and  a duck!".

I love you both SO much!
Hopefully I will have time to add some pictures soon (in between packing boxes!)

Leila's 3rd Birthday party!

( Your 3rd birthday party at the Santa Barbara Zoo was SO perfect! I want to have all of your parties there from now on. You had so much fun, sliding down the hill, looking at the animals (the Macaws talked to us, said "hi Guys!" and you thought that was the best thing ever), riding the train, eating marshmallows, and I think your favorite part was running around with Maya on the empty stage and putting on shows! Maya and I are IN LOVE with you sweet girl. So happy you are here! )
